📱 Telegram Connection

Connect Telegram bots to automate messaging, channel posting, and group management.

Required Credentials

  • Bot Token (obtained from @BotFather)

Setup Steps

  1. Open Telegram and search for @BotFather
  2. Start a chat with @BotFather
  3. Send the command /newbot
  4. Follow the prompts to create your bot:
    • Choose a name for your bot
    • Choose a username (must end with 'bot')
  5. Copy the bot token provided by BotFather
  6. Add the token to your Workflow Builder connections

Bot Permissions

After creating the bot, you can set additional permissions:

  • Send /setcommands to add command list
  • Send /setdescription to add description
  • Send /setuserpic to add profile picture
